Journalist Mohammad Mosaed was arrested by Iranian security forces after he criticized the state’s response to the coronavirus outbreak on social media. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) interrogated Mosaed after he published a series of tweets accusing the government of failing to prepare for an outbreak. He was ordered not to conduct any interviews with media outlets about his detention.
