Four media workers were detained by police in St. Petersburg ahead of pro-military event

Police in St. Petersburg detained SOTA journalist Nika Samusik, MR7 employee Andrey Shved, Kommersant journalist Alexander Koryakov and Novaya Gazeta photographer Alexei Dushutin. The four had been on assignment covering an event in support of the Russian military to mark the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. All four were put in the back of a police van for questioning about their presence there. Shved and Koryakov had been wearing press vests at the time. All were released without charge, according to a report by SOTA.
