Restrictions on access to information: Access restricted to officials / press conferences
Fjona Çela, a journalist with Fax News television, a Tirana based informational TV station, was barred from interviewing medical and public health professionals by the media advisor and spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection (MHSP), depriving her of the right to access information and conduct interviews about the spread of the virus and hampering her outlet’s reporting on the pandemic.
