Restrictions on access to information: Access restricted to officials / press conferences
A new protocol from Ecuador’s Ministry of Health states that journalists are not permitted to cover the administration of the second vaccine dose against COVID-19. The protocol states that there is no authozitation for press conferences or statements related to the application of the second dose. Hospital managers are also not authorized to give statements on the second dose, according to the protocol.
