Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina demanded an investigation by the prosecutor’s office into media outlets over alleged “biased and false allegations” made in reports about the purchase of respirators during the pandemic. Journalists in several outlets questioned the high price paid to the Chinese supplier. Director of the Federal Civil Protection Directorate, Fahrudin Solak, demanded an investigation by the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, leading to condemnation by journalist unions.
