Sandeep Sharma died after being run over by a truck in Madhya Pradesh, India, on Monday 26, 2018. Sharma was driving a two-wheeled vehicle when a truck hit him from behind. There is CCTV footage available of the collision. Sharma worked as a journalist for a national TV channel. He had received death threats and reported them to the police after covering a story which alleged possible links between a sand mafia and police officials. A Special Investigation Team has been formed to investigate the journalist’s death.
