Nadershah Sahibzada, a radio journalist working with a private radio station was stabbed to death on July 12 in Gardiz, capital of southestern of Paktia province. The journalist had disappeared on July 12 and his body with multiple stab wounds was found by the police in a well on July 13. According to the police, the journalist had been tortured before being killed.
