Mustafa Salama, Syria

Mustafa Salama, a journalist for the Sama, a television network in Syria, was killed on July 16 while covering the advance of Syrian government troops in Quinetra, southern Syria. According to the Syrian official news agency SANA, Mustafa was injured in shelling from the rebels groups in the Masshara area. He is the second journalist to have been killed in Syria in 2018.
