Mohamed Ibrahim Gabow, a news presenter for Kalsan TV, died on Dec. 11, 2017 after a bomb concealed under the driver’s seat of his car exploded shortly after he left his home in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district to travel to work. Some initial reports indicated that his children witnessed the explosion. No immediate claim of responsibility was made for the attack.
