Serbian journalist Jelena Krašić was killed during a boating accident on Sept. 12, 2015, during the Cannes Yachting Festival in Cannes, France. Krašić worked for the boating magazine Nautika and was participating in a test ride. According to reports, Krašić jumped into the water after the boat was hit by a large wave, and was caught in the boat’s propellers and killed.
