Henry Roberto Reyes Salazar, a radio worker for Stereo Control 100.7 FM, was shot in the chest twice while travelling to the community of San Rafael in Intibucá on his motorcycle on July 5, 2016. Reyes managed to walk to San Rafael, where he died from his wounds. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
