Elmer Cruz Galvan, a presenter for television channels Tele Morazán 10 and Max TV 22, was found dead near a trail in Morazán in Yoro on June 19, 2016. Cruz’s motorcycle, wallet and cell phone reportedly were found with him, leading police to discount robbery as a motive. The motive for the killing remains unclear.
