Anjum Muneer Raja was killed by unidentified gunmen in Islamabad, Pakistan on March 1, 2018. Raja, who worked as a sub-editor for an Urdu-language newspaper, was on his way home from work on a motorcycle when attackers approached him on motorbikes and opened fire. Raja was shot six times on the head, neck and torso. He died immediately. Police are investigating the killing.
