Abdirizak Qasim Iimaan was reportedly shot dead by government officials in Mogadishu on July 26, 2018. Iimaan was riding a tri-cycle taxi when a policeman allegedly shot him in the head at a check point. The motive of the murder was unclear. Iimaan worked with London based SBS TV in the Somali capital as cameraman.
