Russian communications regulator Roskomnadzor blocked the websites of independent online publications Discourse and Kholod. Discourse’s editorial team announced on Telegram that they had not been given a justification for the blocking and were not notified by the regulator. The editorial team at Kholod received a notification three hours before the blocking came into effect. They were also ordered to delete all information on the site related to the war in Ukraine. Kholod had previously received two warnings about possible blocking due to their war-related reporting.
