Sky News journalist Stuart Ramsay and his crew – consisting of three Brits and a Ukrainian journalist – were shot at as they were travelling in a car on the way to Kyiv. Camera operator Richie Mockler took two rounds to his body armour and Ramsay was wounded. Ramsay later said he was most likely saved by the helmet and armour he was wearing. They were later told by the Ukrainian forces that they had been ambushed by a saboteur Russian reconnaissance squad.
