Russian internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor blocked access to the war related materials of media outlet Russian Planet and the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat. The article by Russian Planet which led to blocking dealt with captured Russian soldiers. The article on Ilta-Sanomat which led to blocking was translated to Russian and it was titled: “The real price of war – ‘Show this to Putin'”. The editor-in-chief of Ilta-Sanomat, Johanna Lahti, said on newspaper’s website that the blocking was no surprise but shows their articles have been noticed within Russia.
