Russian language version of The Moscow Times blocked in Russia

The Russian language service of the Moscow Times was blocked within Russia after it published an article about riot police officers’ refusal to fight in Ukraine. According to media regulator Rozkomnadzor, the newspaper spread false information about the armed forces with its article. The Moscow Times didn’t receive a notification about the blocking of is website by the internet and communications regulator. It remains accessible via VPN. The blocking does not affect The Moscow Times English service.
