Russian internet and media regulator Roskomnadzor blocked the news website of the media outlet Viorstka. On June 23, the General Prosecutor’s office declared that the outlet’s article about Russian war crimes in Ukraine contained forbidden information. The block by Roskomnadzor targeted the entire site. The outlet had only been established three months before.
