Online Russian media outlet TJ blocked

Russian internet and communications regulator Roskomandzor blocked online media outlet TJ on the order of the state prosecutor. The regulator claimed TJ had been disseminating “false” information about the Russia’s military actions in Ukraine, including attacks on civilian infrastructure. Access to the news website was blocked within Russian territory. In a letter received by TJ, Roskomandzor said: “Publications have been posted containing unreliable socially significant information about numerous casualties among the military personnel of the Russian Federation, as well as the civilian population of Ukraine. In addition, publications with unreliable information about the strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on civilian infrastructure and the civilian population of Ukraine were revealed”.
