Novaya Gazeta reported that its journalists were unable to report from a hospital in the city of Belgorod, a Russian city near the Ukrainian border. They had tried to interview soldiers but were escorted out. They reported that a Belsat TV journalist who was also trying to visit the hospital was forced to delete all the photos she had. (Note: Novaya Gazeta has since removed this article from its websites after threats of closure by Russian authorities)
