On 23 March 2022, journalist Anna Tsyhyma was harassed by passersby while filming a report for Polish TV channel TVN. Tsyhyma said she was interviewing a girl who had fled Kyiv with her family when passersby assaulted her, shouting that nothing in Lviv could be filmed, that Tsyhyma was a “saboteur” and that they demanded to see her passport. She said one man in the group of about ten people started hitting her camera and continued shouting. Another person in the group reportedly called the police, however everyone except for Tsyhyma had left before police arrived. The journalist did not press charges.
