Journalist from Volyn region repeatedly threatened by unknown Russian source

On 16 April 2022, Yury Konkevych, a journalist at Racurs.ua, an online news site in Ukraine’s Volyn region, said he had received eleven emails from Russia over the past month with threats of imprisonment. Most recently, he received threats in rhymed form on April 15 from a user going by the name “Alexey Sazonov”, said Konkevych. The author accused him of “propagating fake [news]” and threatened that him with prison.
