Fakty ICTV crew escape explosion in Senkivka

On 2 September 2022, Ukrainian news channel Fakty ICTV were caught in a shelling attack near the northern Ukrainian village of Senkivka, according to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Fakty ICTV published a video online which they said showed their team escaping the village as explosion were occurring. Ukrainian authorities accused Russian forces of firing on the area at the time. Fakty ICTV said that their reporting team believed that the car they were travelling in was targeted by a Russian drone, which dropped an explosive device on their location. The crew was made up of a journalist, a cameraman and their driver. No one was injured during the explosion. Pictures showed the car and its windows damaged by shrapnel.
