Editor of Kakhovska Zorya newspaper kidnapped by Russian troops

The editor of Kakhovska Zorya newspaper, Zhanna Kyselyova, was reportedly kidnapped alongside another local resident by Russian troops in the centre of Kakhovka in Kherson oblast. Kyselyova was taken from her apartment on September 19. In addition to her journalistic work, Kyselyova also served as a deputy on Kakhovka City Council. The motive of the kidnapping remains unknown and it was not possible to establish whether the motive was her journalistic work. She had headed the district newspaper for many years. Kyselyova’s condiiton and whereabouts remain unknown.
