Echo of Moscow editor threatened and told to leave Russia

Valery Nechay, editor of the St. Petersburg bureau of radio station Echo of Moscow, walked into his apartment on February 27 to find three unknown men waiting for him inside. The intruders who Nechay later identified as Chechen accents, grabbed him and violently threatened him, demanding he leave the country.
