Google’s Journalism Emergency Relief Fund will support small- and mid-sized newsrooms employing between 2-100 full time employees. It will review applications on a rolling basis ahead of the April 29th deadline.

Internews has launched a Rapid Response Fund to Support Local Journalism Worldwide, however its fund is currently on hold because of overwhelming demand so keep an eye on this for when it opens its call again.
The Institute for War & Peace Reporting has financial grants up to 10,000 USDavailable in Southeast Asia for quick-response projects to help combat misinformation and disinformation around COVID-19 and to support better access to reliable information. Application deadline is April 30.
The Africa-China Reporting Project at Wits Journalism in Johannesburg, South Africa has reporting grants of up to US$1,500 for COVID-19 related investigations in Africa.
