On October 30, 2022, journalist Sadaf Naeem died while reporting on former prime minister Imran Khan’s political march in the Punjab region, on its way to Islamabad. Naeem climbed the truck carrying Khan, in an attempt to interview him, when she fell and died. Naeem was a television journalist for Channel 5 in Lahore.
