Robson Giorno, Brazil

Robson Giorno, a journalist who founded  Jornal O Maricá, a website covering local news and politics in Maricá, was shot dead by unidentified persons on May 25. The killers knocked on his door and when he came out he was shot dead by assailants sitting in a car. The Rio de Janeiro state police said that they are investigating the murder.
