On March 15, 2022, Oleksandra ‘Sasha’ Kuvshinova, 24, was killed when her vehicle was struck by incoming fire in Horenka, on the outskirts of Kyiv. Kuvshinova was a fixer for the American news broadcaster Fox News and had supported the team for the past month. In the shooting, Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski was also killed. Their colleague, Benjamin Hall, 39, was wounded and brought to the hospital.
