Martinez Zogo, Cameroon

On January 17, 2023, prominent journalist Martinez Zogo was abducted by unknown perpetrators in the capital city Yaounde, Cameroon. Four days later, on January 21, Zogo’s body was found in an area called Ebogo 3, located in central Cameroon. His body was found with clear signs of torture.

Zogo was the director of privately owned radio station Radio Amplitude and host of the show Ambouteillage. As a reporter he was well-known for his critical coverage.
