On November 5, 2022, journalist Fritz Dorilas was fatally shot near his home in the northeastern part of Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince. The circumstances of the murder are not yet to be established. Dorilas was a host on the radio show “Le droit, la loi et la justice”, a program focusing on legal issues, for Radio Télé Megastar.
