Tribune newspaper in Rubizhne in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine received a letter from Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor which demanded the newspaper remove news from its website about a shelling in Rubizhne and Popasna by the military. Roskomnadzor threatened to block the media in Russia if the Tribune did not comply, according to its editor-in-chief of Oleksiy Artyukh. Tribune reported that it declined and continues to report on events in the region. The warning was condemned as an act of intimidation by Russian authorities.
