Well-known journalists Yevgeny Kiselev and Matvey Ganapolsky were added to the register of “foreign agents” by the Ministry of Justice of Russia. Kiselev is the host of the author’s program “Real Politics with Yevgeny Kiselev” on the TV channel Ukraine 24. In the past he worked as a political observer and media manager of the largest Russian TV channels. In February 2022, he joined the Anti-War Committee of Russia. Ganapolsky previously worked as a host for Echo Moskvy, but since 2014 he has been working for Ukrainian media.

UPDATE: On 22 February 2024, Russian independent media reported that Kiselev had also been included on Russia’s list of “terrorists and extremists”. These media later reported that Kiselev had already been added to the list in 2017. Those included on the list are banned from carrying out financial transactions in Russia and their assets are frozen.
