The website of independent online magazine The Village was blocked in Russia by Roskomnadzor, the state media and internet regulator. In a statement on telegram, the editors said: “The Village appeared in the register of Roskomnadzor for extrajudicial blocking, they get into it due to the dissemination of information prohibited in the Russian Federation. Our site is temporarily not working in Russia.” The ban related to its coverage of the war in Ukraine.
