On 7 October 2025, the regional office of Ukraine’s public broadcaster Suspilne in Kherson was damaged as a result of a Russian drone strike. According to local representative of the broadcaster, the building is located in a high-risk “red zone” in Kherson and was not in active use by the local team at the time of the strike. The Russian attack damaged the building’s roof, façade, and window blocks. No casualties were reported.
Mykhailo Svarichevskyi, manager of Suspilne Kherson, stated that the media office would continue to operate despite the damage and would engage with law enforcement to document the incident.
