Sota Vision journalist attacked in Moscow street by two men

Sota Vision journalist Vasilyi Voron was physically attacked in the Russian capital Moscow as he was conducting a poll of citizens. The two men had been passing by when then violently attacked him. Voron was punched in the face and his glasses were broken. He and the two attackers were taken to the Yasenevo police station. According to Sota Vision, Voron’s affiliation with “forbidden Novaya Gazeta” was checked. However, when security forces did not find any link to Novaya Gazeta, he was released. The alleged attackers were charged and ordered to reappear at the police station.
