Russian internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor restricted access to the website of Skat.media over its coverage of the war in Ukraine. In a statement condemning the blocking, the news outlet said: “Despite government attempts to silence us, Skat will continue to cover the war in Ukraine, its protests, corruption, and other important news about Russia. We believe that truth is incompatible with limitations.” It said it was not provided justification by Roskomnadzor for the blocking.
