On the night of 28 August 2025, the office of Ukrainska Pravda was damaged during a massive combined Russian drone and missile strike on Kyiv. The office building housing the outlet sustained structural harm, though no casualties were reported. Ukrainska Pravda has continued working in normal mode despite the disruption, as reported by the outlet.

On the same night, the Kyiv bureau of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) was similarly damaged. Windows were shattered in parts of the newsroom, and some equipment was rendered unusable. No staff members were injured.

Surveillance footage published by Ukrainian media showed that two Russian rockets struck the area where the RFE/RL and Ukrainska Pravda offices are located, causing explosions close enough to shatter windows and damage surrounding civilian structures.

Additionally, a drone strike damaged the office of the local daily Mezhivsky Merydian, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in eastern Ukraine. No casualties were reported.
