Russian forces destroy Komyshuvakha TV tower

On 4 October 2022, Russian troops destroyed a 150-metre-tall television tower in Komyshuvakha, Luhansk region, cutting off television signal for more than 200,000 residents of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The tower distributed Ukrainian television programming for 50 km, including to Popasna, Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. According to IMI, the tower was almost hit by Russian missile strikes on September 22. However, at that point it was not damaged. The condition of the tower was not confirmed.
