On 22 April 2025, the office of Poltavska Khvylya, a local media outlet in the city of Poltava, was damaged as a result of a Russian drone strike on the city, according to a report on the incident published on the outlet’s website.
Photos from the office following the strike showed damage to the ceiling as well as to the space’s electrical installations. Elements of the building’s “internal structures” were also “partially destroyed”, Poltavska Khvylya reported.
No casualties were reported at the media outlet’s office, however six people overall were wounded as a result of the same Russian attack on Poltava on April 22.
