On 22 October 2026, a Russian drone struck the building housing Vizyt TV in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, severely damaging the broadcaster’s premises and forcing it to temporarily suspend the production and broadcasting of news programmes, according to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
The drone directly hit the television company’s building, located in a densely populated residential area, causing a fire. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured in the attack.
The strike caused significant damage to the broadcaster’s premises and television equipment. The newsroom and the office of the channel’s director, Iryna Skrypachova, were particularly affected. Footage published by Vizyt showed a destroyed studio, damaged technical equipment and severely damaged journalists’ workstations.
Although the television channel continued broadcasting, its news programmes were temporarily suspended because of the damage to the newsroom and production facilities.
“We are making every effort to restore the newsroom’s operations as quickly as possible and return to our usual format of informing Kremenchuk residents,” the broadcaster said.
