According to the governor, national TV broadcasting was interrupted in part of the region as part of the attack.

“During the night, there was an attack by Shahed [drones] in the Lozova district, as a result of which the TV tower was damaged and our national television broadcasting was temporarily restricted. We have already started renovation works, and I think [broadcasting] will be restablished very soon,” Syniehubov said in a post published in the afternoon hours of October 30.

Details on the extent of damage at the TV tower, as well as footage of the strike, were not made available. Fatalities and casualties were not reported either, and it was unclear when normal TV broadcasting was able to resume in the region.

The Kharkiv military governor added that on the night of October 30, Russian forces struck Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs and Shahed-type drones. Separately, he noted that the attack on October 30 was part of regular Russian attacks on the region, affecting several of its districts as well as Kharkiv city itself.
