Russian drone damages Suspilne Kherson film crew’s car

On 23 July 2026, a Russian drone attack in Kherson damaged a car used by a Suspilne Kherson film crew, according to Suspilne.

The incident occurred at around 15:00, when the crew’s vehicle was near the site of a Russian drone attack. Fragments damaged the car’s windshield and roof. The driver and camera operator were not wounded.

Suspilne Kherson manager Mykhailo Svarychevskyi said the direct target of the attack was a vehicle moving ahead of the crew’s car. According to him, the driver of the Suspilne vehicle quickly stopped after receiving a warning from a drone detector, allowing the employees to evacuate in time.

Svarychevskyi said the driver was preliminarily suspected of having suffered a concussion, with the final conclusion to be determined after a medical examination.
