At the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Russia’s internet regulator, Roskomnadzor, blocked the site of an independent regional outlet in Sakhalin, Sakh.com. The site was blocked at the request of a representative of the Sakhalin organization “Union of soldiers’ mothers”, Nina Kliuchnikova, after she complained that the site had become infected with “anti-Russian propaganda” which critiqued the Russian armed forces in connection with the war in Ukraine.
