Leading German newspaper Die Welt was blocked on charges of containing information seeking to provoke extremism, mass disobedience or illegal public actions, linked to its coverage of the war in Ukraine. The German daily was added to the list of media blocked within Russia by the country censorship regulator. Also included on the updated list were several media outlets from Zaporizhia were also blocked. Among them are Energodar.City, Gvozdi, V Energodare, Berdiansk 24 and TokmakInformBiuro, alongside others. The Russian army has occupied the cities of Enerhodar, Berdiansk and Tokmak, where the outlets originate from.
