Verbal, online or physical attack: Verbal attack or intimidation by authorities
Svitlana Zalizetska, editor of the RIA Melitopol website and Holovna Hazeta Melitopola received threats over a series of weeks. The threats came as private messages, emails and phone calls from unknown numbers. In the messages she was threatened with torture, interrogation and imprisonment. Earlier during the war, her father was kidnapped and used to extort her. The father was later released.
