Verbal, online or physical attack: Attack on media infrastructure/offices
On 28 July 2025, the office of newspaper Ridny Kray in Buryn, Sumy region, was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the town, according to a report on the case published by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU). Ridny Kray editor-in-chief Lyudmyla Maznova told NUJU that windows were shattered and technical material was broken at the office as a result of the attack. No one was injured, as no staff were present at the premises at the time.
