On 1 July 2022, online news portal 0532.ua received a letter from Russian censor and media regulator Roskomnadzor, informing that the website was blocked in Russia. The website, which is based in Poltava, said Roskomnadzor made the decision due to alleged “fake news on acts of terrorism” in the context of Russia’s war in Ukraine, which “endangers the life and health of citizens and enables massive violations of public order”. Yuri Boyko, the owner 0532.ua, shared the news on Facebook, adding that the team of the media “promise[s] to continue to destabilize [Russia] until the victory of Ukraine”.
