On 17 September 2024, broadcasts by Hromadske Radio and TV channel Capri became unavailable in the city of Pokrovsk as a result of Russian shelling, Hromadske Radio said in a statement published on its website. The outlet said that its broadcasts, that of local TV channel Capri and other unspecified outlets which used the same transmission equipment, would be unavailable for an undefined period, as the security situation in Pokrovsk, which is under heavy attack due to advances by the Russian military, does not allow for the reparation of the broken material.
